Meet Adam Pursel

Teaching Pastor, Mount Vernon Campus

Adam was born and raised in Mount Vernon and came to know Christ later in his life. After graduating from Ashland University with a degree in mathematics, Adam began to pursue a Ph. D. in mathematics at Miami University. It was there that God saved Adam. After accepting Christ as his personal Savior, Adam felt called to become a high school teacher. Adam taught math for five years while also coaching football and basketball. Adam married his amazing wife Molly in July of 2007. Adam and Molly have two pretty sweet kids — Ethan (3) and Ella (2) — whose hobbies include running around the house and singing/yelling. Adam enjoys hanging out with his family and friends, just about any sport, and reading. Adam is the Teaching Pastor at LifePoint and has earned his M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty University.
