Throughout much of Israel’s history, God spoke to His people through the prophets. Through one prophet, Isaiah, God spoke of a Suffering Servant—a sinless person who would die to bear the sins and guilt of sinful people. And so, hundreds of years before his birth, God spoke about Jesus and his sacrificial death to save mankind.
